Chemical signals in women

September 3rd, 2009

A pheromone is a chemical signal that sets off a natural response in a member of the same species. Female pheromones have a variety of effects on women and men, depending on the type of pheromone, the time in which the pheromone’s odor is released, and in some cases the sexual orientation of the woman. Few studies have been published that hold validity, due to the fact that female pheromone studies have factors that are hard to control. Because of this, it is difficult to be sure that any study on female pheromones is well founded.

However, the most well known study involves the synchronization of female menstrual cycles, the primary researcher of that case being Martha McClintock. In that study, it was found that womens’ menstrual cycles are likely to either speed up or slow down when they are exposed to the perspiration of a woman who is currently on her menstrual cycle. Another study suggested that when exposed to androstadienone, the level of cortisol in women was maintained. Androstadienone is a component of male sweat. Therefore it is likely that when a woman is exposed to this sometimes unconscious odor, female pheromones make it to where she is more likely to be attracted to a man who she may not have been attracted to otherwise.

Female sex pheromones are released in order to either inform a member of the opposite sex that the man or woman releasing the pheromone is breeding or fertile, or to attract a mate. It is also theorized that female sex pheromones aid in the process of fertilization on a microscopic level. In females, sex pheromones help to guide the male’s sperm along to the female egg for fertilization. Pheromones released by a male tend to increase sexual arousal in women as well. However, if a woman is homosexual, she is more likely to be less affected by the pheromones of a male, thus suggesting that homosexuality has a biological basis. Female pheromones are a vital part of how women operate on a biological and physical level. They affect everything from who women find attractive, to when their menstrual cycles start, among many other things.

Female Pheromone Perfume

July 11th, 2009

Female pheromone perfumes give women an unfair advantage whenever it comes to attracting men. The pheromone that is used in this perfume is known as androstenol. It is actually produced within a woman’s sweat glands but it is used to attract men who are interested in having sex with that woman. Of course, the sounds of this probably is not all that appealing.

Androstenol is similar to androstenone, which is the male pheromone. Both of these pheromones are quite similar in nature. However, besides producing androstenol women also produce copulins. This is what gives women the advantage as they have two different pheromones working to catch men’s attention for them.

While you may think that you could save money by producing your own pheromones by not bathing for a week, this simply is not true. This is because men are not going to smell the female pheromone that you give off since they do not have an odor. Instead they are picked up on by your VNO (Vomeronasal Organ), which can be described as a type of sixth sense.

Whenever a manufacturer wants to sell a female pheromone they will call it a perfume. It is the perfume’s aroma that you will be able to smell. However, it is not the perfume’s scent that attracts men’s attention. Instead it is the chemicals that are picked up on by the VNO that attracts your Mr. Right.

Many people find it difficult to understand how this actually works. This is especially true of men because they seemingly think of themselves as hunters. Now it seems as though women are a little more resourceful than they had originally been given credit for.

Those manufacturers who are selling female pheromone perfume are not only helping women attract men but they are also helping men be more attentive, receptive and submissive to these women as well. This is something that women have only dreamed of up until now.

Female Pheromones: Debunking the idea

July 3rd, 2009

Ever wonder what makes your pulse quicken when a woman walks by you and you catch the air that sweeps after her?  The scent that can attract you to a woman from across the room?  That particular scent, unique from woman to woman, is the female pheromone.  Basically, this little scent makes a woman known to the opposite sex.  Just one little drift across the room and she could have a man eating out of the palm of her hand if she has secreted enough of the scent.

Just how do we detect this odor?  There is an organ deep inside the nasal cavity called the Vomeronasal organ which only exists to sniff out this scent.  Once the scent is found, its presence is relayed directly to the brain immediately, leading to a physiological gravitation toward the other human being.  All of this is completely subconscious, however.

Research on this concept has been going on for quite some time now.  It seems that no one can pin down exactly why this scent attracts men in the way that it does.  It’s that extra sensory perception that makes a man follow the woman across the bar in order to get her number.

Now, the same scent will not work on every man.  Just like their women, some men like different scent combinations than others.  However, all of this changes when the basic female pheromone comes into play.  Copulins were sprayed in a study done recently.  These copulins attracted males on a more steady basis throughout the research.  In fact, they have been mass-marketed now for use in the general population.

These replicated female pheromones are applied to the body in a odor-less spray in areas that the body would normally secrete them.  Because we have highly evolved hygiene habits such as washing our hair and body everyday, applying perfume, wearing deodorant, and covering the majority of our body with clothes, our pheromones are not secreted as readily as they would normally.

Now, with the use of modern technology, a woman may apply this spritz to available skin and attract as many men as she pleases.
